The South Carolina Quality Forum was established in 1991 to recognize and encourage improvements in quality and competitiveness by organizations throughout South Carolina. The SC Quality Forum uses the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program to accomplish this mission.

The S.C. Governor's Quality Award
Historically presented by the Governor of the State of South Carolina, the South Carolina Governor’s Quality Award recognizes organizations who achieve excellent performance in developing, implementing and deploying a quality management system based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence Criteria.

Award recipients are recognized as leaders and role models to those within their business sector, State, and the U.S. All award recipients are recognized and celebrated at the annual South Carolina Governor’s Quality Award Conference. Receipt of this prestigious award is a monumental step in an organization's quality journey towards the pinnacle of quality awards - The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
